“Ornami” means “to crown” or “to adorn” in Esperanto, a centuries-old language that was created to foster universal peace and understanding. While this dialect remains the most widely spoken international auxiliary language in the world, it is women who have taken the lead in personifying its uplifting intention: to celebrate inclusivity and by doing so, spread beauty, to crown one another both physically and spiritually, and to honor their own inner goddess.
It is the vision of Ornami to keep this language alive through the transformative beauty of hair. We believe in providing premium hair extensions for women of all hair types, procured from the finest authentic human hair sources in the world. Our mission to spread this message of universal sisterhood starts right here, with four beautiful hair type collections fit for royalty, because no two queens are created alike.
Yewande Masi founded Ornami Hair, Inc. in 2011. The spirit of the brand begins with her experience as a businesswoman, career coach,
daughter, sister, and friend. It is these roles as a supporter of other women and general cheerleader for humankind that have allowed her to realize a company with its own sense of community and unique traditions.
Yewande believes that the cross-cultural customs of hair styling and care are something to be maintained throughout generations - passed down from mother to daughter, sister to sister, and friend to friend.
“I created Ornami out of a desire and need to give women great hair extensions in a simple, yet beautiful way - something that honors
and values who each woman is, as well as their hard-earned money. I am incredibly grateful to be able to provide this need and meet such great women along the way.”
